ALIGNMENT

The tables below show the results of an alignment and matching of properties process. The aim of the task was to the interoperability of data. The reference for the alignment was the Dublin Core standard. After the investigation of the different metadata standards, we identified four main categories of data used to describe the items:

Metadata related to individuals or institutions.

Metadata related to geographical locations.

Metadata related to dates.

Metadata related to the form and the content of the items.
